There are some people these days that are:Self-Proclaimed Preachers,Teachers,Evangelists,Prophets,Apostles and such…Upon which obviously were not at all called by God to do any of the following! Lol…They either attempt to enter into such positions as a way to make things work, they claim that God told them such and such…or are found to be into things due to False motives/pretenses altogether! Some are not really in things for the right reason:Other than to see how big of a congregation that they can get,how much money that they can obtain for their pocket book or how much material stuff they can obtain…while those that are to be ministered to are nearly leaning right into hell itself, without any Foundation to stand upon! How…very Sad and Appalling! Ministry is a very serious place to be in and should not at all be taken lightly in any way!

A true shepherd will give his life for the sheep! He will not see the wolf coming and alert the sheep by saying “I see the wolves but you must buy the information from me!” Just another guy greedy for money…. It’s not hard to spot the wolves and not hard for spirit filled believers called by Christ to decern the times and false prophets of which there are many! I don’t know this ministry but one thing I do know with false prophets is the mark of greed which they all have and all claim to have some new revelation of one kind or another.. Now if a donation is needed to produce CDs then fine but there are other ways of making this recording available for free ie to download etc and other ways to offer a donation. I for one if given a word from God to protect the sheep or to warn them would not be looking to gain financially.

Yuuuuuup! The world today is being persecuted by the Muslims…and why, we r like kids, fending and proving a theory! Wake up church, not until Christians become like in Joel chaps 2 & 3 , linking arms, and standing for and with each other…and doing spiritual warfare against evil can we hope to be the glorious army HE is coming back for…grow up, use your own God given discernment and start standing up to b counted.

  6. Acts says:

And it shall come to pass in the last days,…. In Joel it is, “afterwards”; instead of which Peter puts, “in the last days”; the sense is the same: and so R. David Kimchi, a celebrated commentator with the Jews, observes, that “afterwards” is the same “as in the last days”, and which design the times of the Messiah; for according to a rule given by the same writer on Isaiah 2:2 wherever the last days are mentioned, the days of the Messiah are intended,

Saith God, or “the Lord”, as the Vulgate Latin and Ethiopic versions read. This clause is added by Peter, and is not in Joel; and very rightly, since what follow are the words of God speaking in his own person:

I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; not “upon every animal”, as the Ethiopic version renders it: this is extending the sense too far, as the interpretation the above named Jewish writer gives, limits it too much, restraining it to the people of Israel. It being a maxim with them, that the Shekinah does not dwell but in the land of Israel; and also that prophecy, or a spirit of prophecy, does not dwell on any but in the holy land (r). For though as it regards the first times of the Gospel, it may chiefly respect some persons among the Jews, yet not to the exclusion of the Gentiles; and it designs all sorts of persons of every age, sex, state, and condition, as the distribution afterwards shows. Jarchi’s note upon it is,

“upon everyone whose heart is made as tender as flesh; as for example, “and I will give an heart of flesh”, Ezekiel 36:26.

By the Spirit is meant the gifts of the Spirit, the spirit of wisdom and knowledge, of understanding the mysteries of the Gospel, of explaining the Scriptures, and of speaking with tongues; and by the pouring of it out, is intended the abundance and great plenty of the gifts and graces of the Spirit bestowed; but yet not all of him, or all his gifts and grace in the large extent of them: therefore it is said, not “my Spirit”, but “of my Spirit”, or “out of it”; as out of an unfathomable, immeasurable, and inexhaustible fountain and fulness:

and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy: or foretell things to come, as Agabus, and the four daughters of Philip the Evangelist, Acts 21:9.

and your young men shall see visions; as Ananias, Acts 9:10, and Peter, Acts 10:17 and Paul when a young man, Acts 22:17 and John, the youngest of the apostles, Revelation 1:10 though he was in years, when he saw the visions in the Revelations:

and your old men shall dream dreams; or shall have night visions, as Paul at Troas, Acts 16:9 and in his voyage when at sea, Acts 27:23. The order of the words is inverted, this last clause stands first in Joel; perhaps the change is made, because the apostles were young men, on whom the Spirit was poured; and the thing was the more wonderful that so it should be, than if they had been old men,
but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: 17’AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ God says, ‘THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS; 18EVEN ON MY BONDSLAVES, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN, I WILL IN THOSE DAYS POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT And they shall prophesy.… And they shall prophesy.… And they shall prophesy.… Behold.

You all have so many opinions, it’s not your opinion it’s God’s word. We as believers need to humble ourselves and know we aren’t always right. Fighting over everyone’s imperfections like you don’t have any. Even God’s elect have flaws and they always have, yet they know they will be persecuted and still answers the call. Most our persecuted by other Christians more than the world. Sad.

A TRUE SAYING IN DEED. I CAN WORK WITH THE PUBLIC WITHOUT TROUBLE BUT SHOULD I DO THE SAME IN A CHURCH SETTING. WELL I THINK THEY STILL KILL PROPHETS….

  9. Chris says:

Basic Bible Tests of a Prophet-

Test Their Fruit-Are people being lead to the true and beautiful gospel of Jesus?

Christ Centered, Jesus Gets the Credit-Jesus get’s full credit, man takes none. Humility

Harmony with Previous Prophets and God’s Law- To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM. Does the prophet in question teach that the commandments have been done away with (including the fourth-all you Sunday keepers)? False prophet.

Reproves Sin-A true prophet will call sin by it’s name and not teach that it’s okay to remain a sinner because we’re saved by grace. They will encourage repentance

100% Accurate, 100% of the Time – If they preface a statement with God has said, or the Lord showed me, it must come to pass. If it doesn’t, even just one item, false prophet. This doesn’t mean that everything a prophet says or does is inspired.

For the record, I am a convert to Seventh Day Adventism and have only seen ALL these traits manifested in one modern prophet. The big killer is so many “prophets” are Sunday Christians, but the Bible says not to trust them because there is no light in them.

    • This is what I have just been checking into …You truly hit the nail on the head …..But remember it is said forgive the people for they do not know what they do…..Masses controlled by the False Ones ….We have to forgive them not Judge them …..so we don’t fall into their void , we are to try and help them to see the Light not throw them deeper into the Darkness …..

How is it that we so called Christians can divide up into thousands of different sects, take information out of the same source, come up with all sorts of float able doctrines, and still all claim that we are following the Word of God? Why is it that we Christians can follow the same God-forsaken rituals every Sunday without ever noticing that they are at odds with the Bible? How is it that many of us can blithely embrace church practices and theological beliefs that are not rooted in Scriptural principle, yet read them back into the Bible?

    • SpokenwordsofChristaregreaterthaninspiredwordsofPaul says:

Because the Christian sects are not actually of Christ. But I bet you know that already judging from your post. 🙂

  11. Christo says:

The devil can only imitate, and if he can imitate false prophesy, then surely there must be true prophets to imitate. Especialy in this end time.

  12. Mark Hoppe says:

The apostle Paul revealed also that such prophecies would cease once they were no longer needed. “When that which is perfect |or ‘complete’| is come, then that which is in part shall be done away” (1 Corinthians 13:9-10). Clearly in the context, this refers to the complete revelation of God. When the last book of the Bible was transmitted to the church by the last living apostle, the Lord warned us neither to “add unto” nor to “take away from the words of the book of this prophecy” (Revelation 22:18-19).

But many false prophets have indeed “gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1), just as Jesus warned, and they have “deceived many.” One of them, a self-asserted seventh century “prophet” from Arabia, received certain “revelations” from a “god” that were vastly different from those of the God of the Bible, and his followers now number over a billion.

    • WENDELL (GERSHON) BRYANT says:

      INDEED….

    • SpokenwordsofChristaregreaterthaninspiredwordsofPaul says:

Read Christ words with a fresh and open mind, and you would give a grain of salt to the words that Paul saids. Not all of Paul’s teachings are aligned with Christ’s spoken words.

Jesus warned HIS apostles and disciples.
Matthew 24:4-6 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

And what was Paul’s testimony? I saw Christ!
Why did Christ not revealed anything to the Apostles about Paul?
But to an unknown disciple who also claimed, I saw Christ!

Everyone loves Paul because he teaches salvation by faith even if that faith do not produce works and the Law is no more. Whereas Jesus teaches the Law still stands and obedience is still required, yet only while we abide in Christ, that we remain justified in the Law, without any work, but only by faith in Christ. True faith alone can produce true works of righteousness worthy in the sight of God. Without true faith, not a single man can produce true works.

Yes, faith alone saves. But after salvation, true believers should be in a state wherein their faith actually produces true works of righteousness. Not a sinless life, but definitely not a sinful one either, otherwise give Christ a bad name.

The only prophets we need to be listening to, are the ones in the bible, they point people back to God and His ways.

    • Anonymous says:

But God also uses prophets today. No where in theBible does it say God stopped giving the gift of prophecy, in fact it tells us that He gives His gifts to all men who seek it. It also tells us that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So if that’s true them that means God is still giving the gift of prophecy.

  14. For thoses of you who think the word of should be free, then let me tell you something! The word of God is being preached all over the world, thanks to all the latest technology. But it cost money to do this! Not at any given time, have we had the opportunity to spread the Good New around the world as we do now. Do you get anything for free from the world??? The bible teaches that the worker is worthy of his wages!!!

    • Mark Hoppe says:

How true Jesse. Salvation is free because Jesus pay the price. Someone else has to pay the price to spread the Gospel. (Rom 10:14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

(Rom 10:15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

    • Anonymous says:

Maybe so but people have been alsso warned about”paying to learn the gospel”!… So very sad when you have to pay to lean of Gods’ words!!

    • Anonymous says:

      Amen!

    • Ken says:

Yep, and are Bibles all given away free? How could they, if people did not donate to make this happen? If large donations are received then large expenses to further the Gospel, help the poor, orphans, widows, etc. should be given. However, many do make a great profit personally on this and they will be judged! God will not be mocked.

  15. Martin Riley says:

Wow, that’s a pile of mess up there the comment section 😀 Might as well through in my two cents onto the fire. I believe there can be Apostles, Teachers, Prophets now a days, as God has no limits in such things in my opinion, and it’s all still in the dispensation of grace. In addition, I believe it’s completely up to God what calling a man receives and that calling is not really dependent on anyone thoughts on the matter either. We serve a big God. Sounds like an interesting CD. Wonder who’s on the black list. Cheers. 😀

    • WENDELL (GERSHON) BRYANT says:

THE 5 FOLD MINISTRY IS DESIGNATED AND CHOSEN BY ELOHIM. PROPHETS AND APOSTLES IN THEMSELVES NEED BE ORDAINED BY YAHWEH AND MUST CARRY CERTAIN BIBLICAL ANNOINTINGS, NOT OF MAN BUT OF YAHWEH. SO FEW ARE READY TO PAY THE PRICE TO YAHWEH TO FUNCTION IN THESE OFFICES AND THE PERSONAL PRICES ARE VERY HIGH. THEY ALSO STAND IN GREATER CONFLICT THAN OTHERS AND HAVE A HIGHER PENALTY TO PAY.THE HIGHER THE CALLING THE HARSHER THE JUDGEMENT.

      • SpokenwordsofChristaregreaterthaninspiredwordsofPaul says:

This is what happens when Wendell writes a commentary about a book. And after he died, his children republished the book and added his commentaries in between the chapter. Centuries after Wendell and original author of the book was treated as having one mind and therefore was one.

Let the words of men be the words of men and let the words spoken of God stand supreme. Treating the teachings of Paul equivalent to the teachings of Christ produced a lot of “Christian” denominations.

I fully agree with what you said above Wendell, just had to use your name though. 🙂

  16. Chris Tempel says:

      Why?
We are not here to make a profit with the Word of God. It’s looking like the best invented PYRAMID SCEME ever, where only the top few guys aare making the money while there are poor people in that same church that needs to qualify BEFORE they are helped by that ministry….. By qualify, I mean they have to do certain things before they are helped. Its amazing how they think it is a sign of the BLESSING of God! My Bible reads that God blesses all, for the rain falls on the just and the un-just at the same time…….

  17. David Brooks says:

Never do I hear anyone teach that the anti-Christ will appear first. It is always a fly-away doctrine where Jesus is coming! Jesus is coming! Yes, it is true Jesus will be returning, but only after the appearance of the anti-Christ who is the devil, the serpent, the false prophet who will be standing in a place he shall not be standing, preaching peace to every nation. THEN many shall be deceived. This false prophet cannot be identified by man, it cannot be calculated, it cannot be foretold. Only God will be able to reveal him to us. Stay blessed.

    • nancy nunley says:

David i have heard only one tv preacher,/ teacher that tells a lot about the 6th trump when the anti christ comes before Christ does in the 7th trump. It is Shepherds chapel on 57.

    • Richard Neal says:

You’re wrong when you write “This false prophet cannot be identified by man” for end time prophecy – if you can correctly interpret it – clearly identifies not only the False Prophet but the Antichrist as well…I’ve recently published a new book which does just that…www.KingdomOfTheAntichrist.com

    • Richard Neal says:

I’m sorry, but you are wrong David in that I correctly identify the Antichrist and the False Prophet by name in my new book http://www.KingdomOfTheAntichrist.com…And I used the Word of God to do it too…

    • TT says:

Read The Great Controversy by Ellen G. White. The anti-christ of Revelation is the Roman Catholic Church. We’ve known that from the time of the Reformation that Martin Luther started centuries ago.

      • SpokenwordsofChristaregreaterthaninspiredwordsofPaul says:

The anti-Christ is not an institution. Ellen White, might be referring to “Babylon the Great, the Mother of Prostitutes and Abominations of the Earth.” The Reformation is actually a completion of prophesy, all Churches that came from the Great Whore are her children which are also prostitutes. Instead of “Coming out of Babylon”, they actually still carry part of Babylon in their doctrine. The True Church of Christ (not the denomination that registered this name), will never carry the slightest of The Harlots doctrines. The Anti-Christ is yet to appear, consolidating the power of the nations, we have not seen one world government yet, we are yet still in the pre-tribulation and pre-rapture timeline.

Ephesians 4:11-13 clearly lays out the five fold ministry, which includes prophets and apostles. Call me charasmatic if you will, but I will take God’s word over man’s any day.

      • When Eph 4:11-12 was written there was no final 66 Book canon so apostles and prophets were necessary to oversee God’s message. The only apostles and prophets you see today are false ones on “Christian” television. NONE OF THEM MEET THE CRITERIA for either office!

      • GOD’s word is truth, you know how that works. Most men are liars, you know how this works also.

    • Daniel says:

Tell me where in the Holy Bible does God say, he stopped making Apostles? It is One of the 5 ministries states in Ephesians 4:11. If their are no longer Apostles, then the same has to be said about Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teacher!! Since no one can, It would be safe to say that Apostles are still being appointed!!

      • Carolyn says:

Well, Daniel….Why Do So-Called Christian People Worship On Sunday the Pagan Day Of Worship Of The Sun…And Not As Commanded BY GOD TO Worship On The SABBATH!! And Dont Give Me That Bull That Jesus Came To The Apostles On Easter Sunday Stuff! JESUE Himself Said He Did Not Come To Change The Law! Not One Jot Or One Tittle!!

      • SpokenwordsofChristaregreaterthaninspiredwordsofPaul says:

If you take Christ teachings and actions during His earthly ministry. He choose 12 to be His apostles, and he knows that one of them has to be the son of perdition. He did not sent his apostles to go and make more apostles but he did sent his apostles and 72 other disciples to preach that the kingdom of God has come.

By context an apostle is a hand-picked person of Christ. Paul’s claim as being hand-picked could be a good argument to qualify him of being a true apostle. But what did Christ said before He ascended to heaven as witnessed by the apostles and disciples? That after He is gone, false prophets and apostles would come, he warned never to believe anyone who would claim, they saw Christ, or they were with Christ. Imagine just how the apostles and disciples got surprised when they hear of Paul’s claims.

If Christ would continue making apostles via vision, just as how Paul’s testimony was, then apostles would be popping up here and there. And we might as well treat Jesus a liar when he warned about coming false prophets and apostles.

    • Not true Deb. I am far from a charismatic, and I believe in the 5 fold ministry. To say that the word does not exist is like saying miracles do not exist. That would be false unto itself. Now saying that there are wolves in sheep clothing abound would be correct.
