Florida beach flesh-eating bacteria Spreading across the State kills 9 people so Far

Some beach lovers in Florida are hanging up their swim trunks and staying home this weekend. A deadly case of flesh-eating bacteria is spreading across the state. Anyone that touches the bacteria, may become sick. 9 people have already died from the deadly bacteria this year so far. The bacteria can get into your blood stream through any open wound or by eating raw shellfish. Once this happens, medical experts say that about half of the cases will be deadly. And hear is the real story….
End of times minstery, REALLY! yep, you are part of the problem, not the solution

  5. David says:

All this talk about bacteria not existing in the ocean is incredibly retarded! The ocean is ONE BIG POOL of bacteria moron! Ocean bacteria 101 is the biggest balancing act of any salt water aquarium owner. Of course, you are entitled to your opinions but isn’t it best to remain silent and thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt?!

Vibrio vulnificusis part of a group of bacteria called “halophilic” because they require salt. It dies at salt levels typical of the ocean but thrives at lower to moderate salt concentrations, such as those found in Indian River Lagoon or mouths of rivers near oceans.

End times….prophetic…what a crock of shit chicken-littles there are here.

  7. Janine says:

I live on the east coast of florida. There have been thousands of Dolphins, fish, manatees, birds and etc dying in the Indian River bc of brown Algae. Then the beaches have flesh eating bacteria. How do I know this? I watch Brighthouses’ News 13 and HLN Morning Express every morning while drinking my strong coffee. I wonder if these problems are somehow connected?

I also am wondering does it have something to do with the oil spill … We were just at Cedar Key this weekend, and we had the best seafood I think I have ever had in my life.. What a shame.. I don’t think I want any more now.. 😦

      • Larita says:

Well, we have clammers in the water here in Cedar Key harvesting clams every day. I have yet to hear of a deadly bacteria in the water here. Believe me when I say that there is no way that could be kept quiet in this town if it did exist in our waters! LOL

    • You mean the strong coffee and flesh eating bacteria? I don’t think that could be related, but maybe you should put some coffee mate in it.

I just know bacteria cant live in salt water so it must be the medication killing the people

may cause by the plant explosed from Japan…

  10. Anonymous says:

I believe it is oil or by plant in Japan that explosed the plant?

    • Joe Wilder says:

…and you base this on what? Japan’s leak constitutes 0.00000000000000001% of the volume of ocean water. Go get yourself a Geiger Counter and check yourself. I already have…and nothing shows up. Nuclear bombs at Bikini Atoll contributed more radioactivity to the oceans and there were many more of them.

This has harmed the entire coastal area of Stuart Florida. People are loosing business because of this problem.

    • Joe Wilder says:

You are “loosing” your mind….and probably lost a lot of it already. Get back on your meds.

I took a day trip to Panama City Beach with my grandmother and grandfather a little over a month ago. My grandfather had a small wound on the back of his leg. He got in the water maybe 5 minutes. The next week he was admitted to the hospital and put in CCU because the bacteria spread throughout his body. They were going to amputate the leg where the wound was because the bacteria destroyed it, however he passed away in CCU. Please take this seriosuly!!

    • Debbie says:

I am so sorry for your lost

    • Anonymous says:

I call B.S. the cases of this bacteria were on the other side of the state opposite Panama City and in brackish water not in the Ocean .ibrio vulnificus bacteria contracted in the same riiver. So unless you can prove with a link the case of your grandfather contracting this in Panama City. Also a link to the obituary stating cause of death, you are just fanning the flames.

NOT beaches…two deaths have occurred from vibrio vulnificus bacteria contracted in the same inland Florida river. This website is just sensationalism.

    • Anonymous says:

Son in law almost died July 2013, stepped on a shell in the water at perdido key on the beach, didn’t even bleed when it happened, but got deathly ill. Leg swelled huge and red streaks to his hip, fever 104-105 (which can be fatal in itself) hospitalized and immobile for over two weeks. Sick as a dog. This is real and its at the beach, time to admit it before more people die from it.

What Florida beaches have been affected or maybe I should which have not have friends planning to travel there very so!

  22. Chancee Terry says:

Im sure the oil spill has nothing to do with this – the water will never be safe again nor the things we USED to eat from it!

  23. Kevin True says:

Note the source END TIMES HEADLINES… they are invested in doomday sensationalism, note also it does not specify any location in Florida nor ant quoted or identified victim.

  24. Anonymous says:
